Established to capitalize on the robust economic growth of the region and the emergence of ‘new-economy’ entrepreneurs and businesses in Cambodia and Laos, the Cambodia-Laos Development Fund S.C.A., SICAV-SIAF is a Luxembourg-registered specialized investment fund which provides growth capital to SMEs in these countries. The Fund seeks to provide competitive financial returns to its investors through investments in innovative, transparent businesses that have clear growth strategies and are positioned to achieve outperforming results. Additionally, by providing investment capital to this critical, yet under-financed, segment of each country’s economy, the Fund also aspires to have a positive impact on the development of the private sector in the region.

Latest News
The official launch of the Cambodia-Laos Development Fund was marked by events to introduce the Fund in both Laos and Cambodia on January 25th and 28th respectively. The events were attended by members of the private sector and development communities as well as government representatives. Keynote remarks at the Cambodian event were provided by Ms. Kristin Clemet, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Norwegian Investment Fund for Developing Countries. Ms. Clemet served as the Minister of Education and Research for Norway from 2001 to 2005 and as a member of Parliament from 1989 to 1993. |
