Mr. Hanjaya Liem Limanto

Hanjaya Limanto is Managing Partner of Aureos’ South East Asia Fund, and amongst others, responsible for developing and maintaining investor relationships, and overseeing cooperation with other Aureos offices in the South East Asian region. Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, Mr. Limanto has twenty years’ experience in various business disciplines, including private equity, venture capital, marketing and product development.

Mr. Limanto joined Aureos in 2005 as Country Partner for Indonesia, bringing particular expertise in seed financing, acquisition of distressed assets and leveraged buyouts. Before joining Aureos in 2005, Mr. Limanto worked as a managing partner for Roundhill Group and Sofos Partners, where he focused on medium-sized investments in various fast-growing sectors in Indonesia. Prior to that, he had spells with CDC in London and JD Ventura Corporation in the US. Before moving into private equity, Mr. Limanto had built up a respectable career in the corporate sector, mainly in marketing and product development management positions with Procter & Gamble.

Mr. Limanto holds an MBA from the joint program of University of Hawaii in the US and Hitotsubashi University of Tokyo in Japan. He also holds a B.Sc. degree in chemical engineering (honours Cum Laude, first class honours) from the Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya (ITS).
